The handshake in writing.
Plain-language terms of service. Last updated 8 May 2026.
1. Who you're agreeing with
Streamamber is a product operated by Streamamber GmbH (in formation) based in Germany. When the GmbH is filed, this section will name the register, court, and managing director. Until then, the operator is Felix Neuen, doing business as a sole proprietor.
2. What you can do with the service
Use it to make alert overlays, plugins and assets for your own stream. Personal and commercial streaming use is fine. Reselling access to the service itself is not.
You can let other people you employ — editors, mods, social media managers — log into your account or operate it on your behalf, but they're acting under your authorization and you're responsible for what they do.
3. Free tier
The free tier is, well, free. We may add or remove items from the free tier over time, but we'll never silently downgrade it. Material changes are announced 30 days in advance via email.
4. Lifetime tiers
Lifetime, Early Bird and Founders are one-time purchases. They do not expire. We do not run inactivity clauses. We do not move features out of your purchased tier into a higher one.
If we shut down the service entirely (we hope not, but contracts should plan for it), we will release the source code under an open-source license so you can self-host with your existing data intact. This is not legal in every jurisdiction's bankruptcy process, but we will try.
5. Refunds
Within 14 days of any purchase: full refund, no questions, by replying to the receipt email. After 14 days: case by case. We'd rather refund a borderline case than leave you angry. Full process and timing in the refund policy.
6. Marketplace items
Plugins and asset packs sold by community creators are licensed by the creator, not by us. The 14-day refund applies. After that, the creator's license terms (linked from the listing) govern.
7. Acceptable use
Don't use Streamamber to build overlays that harass, defame, or violate someone's IP. Don't try to extract data from other users' channels. Don't use plugins to bypass our sandbox. Doing any of this gets you suspended.
8. Liability
We provide Streamamber as-is. We try hard not to lose your data, but if we do, our maximum liability is what you paid us in the last 12 months. This is the standard limitation in software contracts; we can't insure against indirect damages from a missed alert.
9. Termination
You can delete your account anytime in Settings. If you bought Lifetime, you can come back and your tier is preserved (we keep the purchase record). We can suspend an account that violates Section 7 but will explain why and give you a chance to appeal.
10. Disputes
German law applies. Place of jurisdiction is the registered seat of the GmbH once filed. EU consumers retain their statutory rights.
11. Changes to these terms
We'll email you at least 30 days before any material change. The changelog tracks every revision with a date stamp.
