About

We sell tools. Not subscriptions.

Streamamber is a small, opinionated overlay studio for streamers — built by people who got tired of paying monthly for software that lives inside their scenes for years.

The honest truth: streaming tools have gotten greedy. Subscription creep, AI-generated everything, "lifetime" plans that quietly sunset after 12 months of inactivity, asset stores that take 50% off the top. The tools are necessary, so creators pay. We're trying to do it differently.

Free is genuinely free. Unlimited overlays, multi-platform alerts, two hundred plus hand-cut assets, the full editor. Not a fourteen-day trial. Not a watermark. Not a teaser. The free tier is a real tier with a real ceiling that lots of streamers will never need to break through.

Paid is genuinely fair. Three subscription tiers — Set, Headliner, Mainstage — sized to real-world streamers. Cancel any time. We won't silently raise your price; if rates change, you keep your current one for at least twelve months. And the first hundred buyers get a Founders Edition: paid once, locked for life.

Creators get ninety percent. Designers, sound folks, plugin developers — they ship through the marketplace and keep ninety percent of every sale. Our ten covers payments, hosting and support. We publish the breakdown by quarter.

No AI for assets. Every official asset is hand-designed and hand-named. Community submissions are held to the same bar. The point of an overlay is that it looks like you, not like the average of everyone the model has seen.

Who's behind it

Streamamber is built by Felix and a small group of designers and engineers who spend more time in OBS than they care to admit. The project is independently funded — no VC, no investors with a five-year exit clock — which is the only reason "lifetime is lifetime" can be a promise and not a marketing line.

We run on a single VPS in Germany, behind Caddy, with daily backups. The whole stack is deliberately boring: Next.js, Postgres for the marketplace, SQLite for the MVP, Twitch OAuth, Stripe for payments. No exotic infrastructure that becomes a liability when funding gets tight.
